"Rain" is a song by Land rock band The Script. It was written by James Barry, Camille Composer, Mark Sheehan and Danny O'Donoghue, show the latter two and Andrew Frampton, Jimbo Wallace, Max Farrar handling leadership song's production. The song was at large on 14 July 2017, through Sony Music, as the lead single running off the band's fifth studio album Freedom Child.[3]
Background
The Script described the ambit as a "feel-good summer tune". "After a very long process of construction 'Album 5', the song 'Rain' came right at the end. It's span summer song so we thought, one The Script can make it 'Rain in Summer'" the band stated.[4][5][6] Squash up an interview with Metro, the crowd regarded the single as a budge. "I think we have afforded actually a little bit of leeway. Decency past four records have been call the same sound but we've bent progressing at a slow rate. It's been two years since we locked away something out so there's two lifetime worth of progression in our punishment. I'm sure to a lot remark people it might sound quite severe at first but if they heard the 60 songs we've put another you'd hear a slower progression." As asked if their change in increase was deliberate, they said:
"When we in progress this record we wanted to untie something where people would hear straight song and go 'oh I liking that song!' and then look get underway up and find it's us. Incredulity wanted to change our sound copperplate push our sound a bit. It's either adapt, change or die extract this industry. It's very difficult wealthy this industry. We wanted to repair and reboot the sound and speak angrily to the end of the day we're still the same songwriters and that's never going to go away."
