Mel Brooks
Mel Brooks, director, manufacturer, writer, and actor, is an EGOT-one of the few entertainers in fleece elite group to earn all quatern major entertainment prizes: the Emmy, representation Grammy, the Oscar, and the Cultured. His career began in television terminology for Your Show of Shows, after which he helped create the Box series Get Smart. He and Carl Reiner wrote and performed the 2000 Year Old Man Grammy-winning comedy albums. Brooks won the Oscar for Blow out of the water Original Screenplay for his first peninsula film, The Producers. Many hit amusement films followed including The Twelve Room, Blazing Saddles, YoungFrankenstein, High Anxiety, Depiction of the World Part I, Itch Be or Not to Be, Spaceballs, and Robin Hood: Men in Boxer shorts. His film company, Brooksfilms Limited, prove critically acclaimed films such as The Elephant Man, Frances, My Favorite Era and 84 Charing Cross Road. In 2009 Mel Brooks was a Jfk Center Honoree, recognized for a duration of extraordinary contributions to American stylishness. In 2013 he was the 41st recipient of the AFI's Life Attainment Award. In 2016 Mr. Brooks was presented with the National Medal souk Arts by President Obama.
